@Eldon

Yeah, Netflix didn't expose a decent way to filter results on their side until well after QueueMan was written and released.

There is a newer version that does just as you say, but it is not complete and I never had time to finish it before my day job claimed my hours back.

If you know any tech savvy friends I encourage them to checkout the latest code from code.google.com/p/queueman and push along the final steps to release version 1.0 which includes server side filtering, auto-fetch, and better error handling/retry logic.

Because QueueMan is released under the GPL v3 license anyone is free to tear aware at the code as long as they make the changes available, without cost, to anyone who wants it. I really hoped by know I would get some support, but alas it is still just me, and I have 0 time these days for outside projects.

You can see progress on various issues at that site as well.

Thanks for the feedback!

For those of us with Instant subscriptions only...when I search for example 50 movies, then say only show the instant ones I have 12 movies left. If there a way to get only Instant. (This really should be on Netflix's side. If my account is only for instant they shouldn't recommmend movies I can't get!)

I use this from my couch to add movies to my instant queue. There are a couple features that are critical to me.

1. When I search for movies, give an option to list only instant ones. If I want to manage my DVD queue, I'll do that from my computer.

2. Browse instant movies in a Genre like I can do on netflix.com

3. Show the covers of the box like I've seen in some other droid netflix apps.

@Nate

Update: I have rolledback the Market version to 0.9.9.1 which should eliminate this issue for all users.

----
Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately you are not the first to report this. It seems to be a recent error that is occurring as a result of QueueMan's success.

The number of user requests may be exceeding Netflix's API limits, and I am actively working with them to address this.

Meanwhile please provide details to help me here:
http://code.google.com/p/queueman/issues/detail?id=65

And please continue to share feedback! (positive or negative) I can not respond to market comments, but appreciate direct mail, comments here, or comments on the code site inked above, as these are much more interactive discussions.

Seems to be a problem with my Motorola Droid running 2.1. When I try to add a title to my queue at the bottom, I get an error (with nothing after the Error code).

@Tony
Thanks for you interest.
Although the source code is publicly available, I have not tested it on any devices like the A5S...perhaps you can assist me there. On a side note I am looking for more information or reasoning behind the move to strip Android Market from some distributions. Seems to just segment a device population, making it more difficult for developers to reach users.
